I love to do all kinds of things!  Let me list them below:

  1. Cooking: MexicAsian is my favorite style

  2. Gardening: 46 lbs Moon and Stars water melon this year
  3. Making things like furniture and shelves and raised beds for the garden out of wooden pallets and other reclaimed materials
  4. The Outdoors, especially “motor-noeing” in my 1965 Grumman 17 foot aluminum beast, the Indian Queen Lane (complete with a teeth rattling 3.5 horsepower Honda outboard!)
  5. Collecting (and listening to) vinyl records: my prize is a very rare first pressing of the Smashing Pumpkin’s 1995 opus Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness.  I rock out on a 1976 model Pioneer PL-510 turntable.

  6. Painting: abstract expressionism, please
  7. Making music in various ways: Here’s a remix I did of Chromeo’s Bonafied Lovin
  8. Photography of all kinds, although I’ve always been fond of portraiture and a type of abstract photography I call light painting
  9. Seeing Live Musicespecially sludgy Southern metal (e.g. Weedeater), Swedish psychrock (Horisont), outlaw country (Damon & the Shitkickers, Shooter Jennings), synthy dreampop (M83, the Marshmallow Ghosts) and smooth yacht rock (Loggins/McDonald and later Doobies).  Here’s a snapshot from My Morning Jacket’s 2012 Summer Tour:
